Think running in a game just means mashing buttons as fast as you can? Ragdoll Runners will change your mind. This is a physics-based track and field game you can play right in your browser, with nothing to download or install. Open your browser and you are on the track.
What gives Ragdoll Runners its personality is that you control each of the athlete’s legs separately. There is no automatic running animation. Which leg steps, and when, is entirely up to you.
That means mashing keys will not win you races. If your two keys fall out of sync, your runner stumbles, loses momentum and sometimes face-plants in a very funny way. But once you find the rhythm, the runner moves smoothly and looks like a real champion.
The third key is easy to forget, but it matters most at decisive moments: diving for the line in a sprint, landing after a jump, or clearing a hurdle.

According to the developer’s own page, the original game has 8 events across four main groups:
Many people call this game “QWOP with a friendlier setup.” The creator describes it the same way: simpler controls, more events, replays and better visuals. It is easier to pick up, but it still takes real skill, so improving feels great after every attempt.
If you enjoy games built on reflexes and rhythm, try Tall Guy: Run! with its clumsy, lanky runner, Body Race for speed-racing fans, or Tomb Runner if you want to dash through ancient tombs.
No. You play directly in your web browser.
The game uses arrow keys, so it is most comfortable on a computer with a keyboard.
Usually your two legs are out of sync. Slow down, press evenly, then speed up.
The original game offers split-screen for up to 4 players and online record leaderboards. The browser version may differ depending on the site.
Master the timing, balance and coordination in Ragdoll Runners to improve your performance across every track and field event.
