Some of the somersaults appear great until the character over-rotates and ends up in a bad position. This is where Flip Physics gameplay really shines, where you have to control how your body moves on your own, instead of it being pre-programmed movements. Every motion, from getting underway on the bar to flipping over backward in the air, is determined by when you let go, how you hold your body and how well you can direct inertia.
One of the most interesting features of Flip Physics is its ragdoll physics simulation. The character doesn't do a precise series of moves automatically. You have to create power by swinging on the bar, manipulating your body and then timing the time to throw yourself skyward.
A swing that moves to a beat is more forceful . But if you let go too soon or too late , the trajectory can take you off the desired course . Once airborne, contracting or extending your body will affect the speed of the spin. A clean backflip requires different coordination than a twist or forward roll.

Instead of just using one button to jump, Flip Physics offers multiple position control keys, allowing you to intervene in each stage of the performance.
You may also hit H to hide the control panel or go to the Key Bindings section to see and customise the keys. Try breaking down each action before combining them in one continuous somersault sequence.
Letting go is just the first step. An advanced performance also requires you to bring the character back near the bar and time it correctly to catch it again. If successful, you can continue the sequence instead of ending right after the first jump.
The game also encourages experimenting with different performance positions and recording the performance. This provides an additional goal for those who like to perfect their technique, rather than just trying to finish a somersault.
Don't try to do many spins right away. Practise building up speed, try releasing at different moments and see how the position affects the movement. Once you have the basic somersault down you may mix arch, tuck, layout and pike to change the pace of the spin.
If you are landing poorly a lot, examine if you are spinning too much or if you are not getting into a solid position fast enough. In Flip Physics it’s usually better to make minor modifications at the right time instead of constantly pushing keys in haste.
