G-Switch 4 is a great action skill game in the endless runner genre with a unique gravity control feature. Players will have to switch between floor and ceiling to avoid obstacles, navigate risky passages, and keep up their speed for as long as they can instead of just sprinting on the ground like in regular runner games.
This installment does more than simply reverse gravity. It comes with a fresh visual style, a light narrative layer, multiple game modes, and, most notably a creative "playground" built for fans to design and share their own content.
After the success of the first three games, G-Switch 4 introduces a light Story Mode. You play as a runner uncovering the secrets of a mysterious virtual world, crossing paths with characters like Rayna, a fellow "switcher," and later a robot named MAAK-1006.
In the opening level, Rayna asks the main character if he created the level himself, he has no idea what she means. After finishing it, a mysterious voice grants him the ability to design his own levels, hinting that there's more to this world than a simple race track.
The story isn't deep, but it's enough to give each level a bit of purpose beyond just chasing a high score.
