If you've ever died a dozen times with the stickman in earlier Vex games, Vex 10 will feel both familiar and brand new. It's still a platformer that demands quick hands and sharp eyes, but this time the developers go much bigger. The ceiling becomes a running track, invisible traps lie in wait, and some stages have you controlling several Vex characters at once. You just open the page and play, with no download or installation needed.
The biggest change is that the game no longer lets you look only straight ahead. You have to watch above your head, below your feet, and any spot that looks suspiciously empty. Each new Act brings its own rules, so just when you've gotten used to one, you have to learn again from scratch. It's equal parts frustrating and addictive, and that's the Vex flavor.
On a computer, use the Arrow keys or WASD to move, jump, and crouch. On mobile, tap the on-screen buttons to run, jump, and slide. The controls are simple. The hard part is timing your presses, not remembering the keys.
This is the newest mode and also the toughest. You control multiple Vex characters at once, each facing a different set of traps on the same button rhythm. If a single character slips, the whole stage restarts, so hand-eye coordination matters more than speed. Finish the regular Acts first, then give this mode a try.
No. It's an online game, and you play directly in your browser.
Yes. The game has touch buttons for running, jumping, and sliding.
Moderately hard in the early Acts, but the difficulty rises quite sharply in the later Acts and Challenge Mode.
Study the rhythm of the traps, try a different approach, or take a short break and come back.
Vex 10 stays true to the spirit of the series while adding enough new ideas that it never feels stale. If you want a compact challenge that's still gripping, open the game and try the first few Acts.
