I’ve loved acrobatic games for a long time, so when I opened Flip Duel, I figured I’d mess around for a few minutes. Instead, I sat there for almost an hour trying to nail one clean landing on the final level. The game runs right in your browser. Click and play, with nothing to install.
It’s a side-view acrobatics sports game. You control an athlete who launches off high platforms, clears city obstacles, and tries to land on both feet. There are 8 levels with 80 challenges, and six characters unlock as you progress, including strong female athletes with blonde, brown, and red hair.
The tutorial at the start is short but worth paying attention to. After a few dozen falls, here’s what I learned:
What surprised me most is how ordinary the launch points are: tall barrels, construction ladders, basketball hoops. Watching someone leap off a basketball hoop onto the street is a little absurd, but in a charming way.

Failing in this game doesn’t annoy me. The ragdoll physics turn every bad landing into a gag, so I end up laughing more than getting frustrated. That makes me eager to try again, and that loop of trying, failing, and retrying is exactly what makes the game addictive.
A quick tip: don’t go for hard tricks right from the first level. Learn to land safely first, then add the mid-air spins.
No. It’s an online game, so you play directly in your browser.
Yes. Duel mode lets two players share one device.
There are 8 levels with 80 challenges in total.
Six characters unlock gradually as you clear levels.
Release your tuck slightly early before touching the ground so your feet can line up.
Once you’re comfortable with Flip Duel, try Flip or Fail to sharpen your flipping reflexes, or Rooftop Flip for jumps across rooftops. Both are playable right in your browser, just like Flip Duel.
