Neon Rush is a 2D platformer with rhythm aspects. You play as a cube, moving through levels filled with obstacles. There’s no long plot, no convoluted upgrade system, just the feeling of mastering the movement and syncing with the rhythm of the music.
Neon Rush has controls that are quite easy to learn. Players primarily make jumps and use bouncing platforms to traverse terrain.
The difficulty is that every challenge requires incredibly exact timing. If you tap a little too early or late, the cube will immediately tumble down a ravine or hit sharp spikes.
Neon Rush makes it harder with additional obstacles.
Each level adds:

The cube will keep rolling forward when the level starts. Your mission is to leap in time perfectly to get through the whole challenge.
Don't just pay attention to where your character is right now. Look out further to prepare for the next set of hurdles.
The sooner you observe, the more time you have to react, instead of reacting within a split second.
From a purely visual point of view, several passages will appear to be quite challenging.
Try turning up the volume and listening to the rhythm of the song. After a few listens you will note that several jumps are nearly "marked" by the melody itself.
Some platforms will be moving position all the time.
Don't haste to jump as soon as you see them. Much better to wait for the perfect time.
Besides finishing the level, Neon Rush also hides a lot of secret items along the route.
Some are on side branches, or require jumps more difficult than normal. Players who like to reach 100% completion will also find it a thrilling task to find all the secrets.
It’s a 2D platform game with rhythm aspects, based on reflexes, timing and conquering obstacles to the rhythm of the music.
Levels keep becoming harder. It is relatively easy to learn at first, but subsequently it takes quick reflexes and strong navigation skills.
This will depend on the platform you're using. To play on a website you will need an internet connection for the game.
Yes. Neon Rush is browser based so you can play on desktop and mobile and the controls are easy to use.
Yeah. The music’s cadence is aligned with several of the obstacles, letting players time their jumps more effectively.
Practice the level layout over and over again, mixing seeing the terrain with feeling the beat of the music. Once you get into the swing of things, you can lower the amount of failures and improve your finish time.
Neon Rush is a game about fast paced obstacle courses, and every accurate jump is oh-so-satisfying. If you want to test your reflexes and beat several rhythmic levels, this is a game that is worth exploring.
